There's always a special story that goes with a commemorative award and this site will explain how the Miss Ellie Cup has come into existance.
I have donated the cup to the Caerwys Show for the part bred Arab ridden showing class as it is my local show and both my horses have won this class at various shows over the past twenty years.
I also dedicate this to all those who have lost their 'special' horses and who have given named awards to shows and competitions everywhere. Please pause and think for a moment if you are ever lucky enough to win one as they have been gifted with a broken heart.
I am planning to win this back if I can in three years time with my third generation of the Ellie line.
